Just how many Misgurnus species are there, really? *PIC*

Trying to positively ID my weather loaches (with 4 pairs of barbels, not the 5 you'd expect - as mentioned in an earlier post), and I looked on fishbase and found a large list of Misgurnus species (see link below).

I also found a google image of an alleged Misgurnus bipartitusis that looks to be a dead ringer for my fish (see picture if the image option works).

Finally, the picture on page 2 of the M. anguillicaudatus LOL page from the Fishes of Korea also looks just like my loaches but also looks different than most of the other "weather loach" photos.

I guess I'm beginning to wonder just how many fish are sold as weather/dojo loaches and if some of the fish we believe
