hi all,
we have 5 small clowns in Qtank for 2 wks, so far. one is isolating itself from the group, and 2 nites ago it dashed all over the tank, even leaping out of water to hit itself on the cover, and whirling like a tornado. this went on for 2 very long minutes. we trapped it in a net and it seemed to calm down and is now weakly resting by itself under a fake plant.the other 4 are eating and hovering together in their plastic pipe. there is no substrate, and they all appear to dislike resting on the bare bottom, preferring to stack themselves along the pipewalls.
T =76
pH = 7.0 - 7.2
(my other loach tank is the same and those 2 are huge and healthy)
ammonia, 'trites and 'trates are 0
water-x 2x /week for the Q

they are eating: dried a/o frozen bloodworms

dried a/o live brine shrimp

can this be myxospora? (no other symptoms present but the whirling....
thanks, Lori
