I know, there's no such thing as a "docile" loach (in my experience) but I thought I'd ask the experts! :-)
I have a tank with a snail problem, and I don't want to use chemical treatments to get rid of them. I can't cut back feeding as the tank contains juvenile discus and they need to be fed pretty frequently - and some food always slips past. The snails are Malaysian Trumpets, so they burrow in the gravel and are generally hard to control manually...
So, are there any snail-eating loaches that wouldn't drive the discus nuts? I know clowns, especially smaller ones, are WAY too curious and frisky for the discus.
The tank is a 50gal. so smaller loaches would be perfect.
