strange Botia sidthimunki behavior

Last night as I was heading to bed, I noticed that two of my sids were acting "funny." They were basically swimming in circles with each other (much like dogs chasing tails), then taking a break, etc.. Not sure how long it went on, as I missed the beginning and had to get some sleep. Is this breeding behavior? I've had five sids for about two months, and this is the first time I've seen them "play" in this manner. Any insight appreciated!
