Sorry everyone is not able to read the text for the photos from coppermine. Thanks to Mark, Martin, and Barbara for the help. All the photos are of parasites from skinny B. macracanthus and kubotai. The photos show two differnt nematode species and a coccidian all found within the gut. Also, Myxoblous and microsporidian spores in the internal organs. Here is what I wrote from Coppermine:
These photos show the gross appearance of the "wasting" condition observed primarily in loaches of the genus Botia. I see this condition most often in B. macracanthus fry and B. kubotia. The album also contains photos of the internal parasites discovered upon examination of afflicted B. macracanthus and B. kubotai. It is not known whether these parasites are responsible for the wasting condition and healthy fish have not been examined. However
