Bad news for Loachland!

I'm hoping anyone posting from southeast Asia can offer us some insights after the terrible earthquake on Sumatra this morning. It sounds just horrible! No word yet if the area closer to Bangkok and souther Vietnam were flooded, but towers apparently shook in Singapore, and many people have been killed in Malaysia and Indonesia. One report says that a whole hotel was swept away on Phuket - where every single room on the island was booked for the tourist high season.
Southern India and Sri Lanka were very badly hit by tsunamis.
My (all of our) best wishes to our friends in that part of the world!
