I have 7 clown loaches that are having ick outbreak. I was told that I changed too much water (only 25% a week) and didn't properly raise tap water up to tank temp. I somehow have kept white spots under control for a few weeks by keeping temp around 85, but as soon as I lowered temp down to 81 for around a week.White spots come back more and more everyday. I have raised the temp to 87 for two days, but it doesnt seem to help.

I am reluctant to add salt or medication because I have plants and some panda cories that I just added one week ago. The high temp is starting to affect other fishes and plants in the tank.

Should I wait and see or I should go ahead using salt or medication?
