Medical advice - fin damage

Hey. I noticed two of my striatas having a scrap this morning, so I took a closer look. One of them haswhat looks to be half of his dorsal fin gone. There is some whitish scarring. His other fins, and the fins of all the other loaches are just fine - what is this?
Is it best to remove him to the Q-tank and treat with antibiotics, or just to keep an eye on him?
I would think that something like fin rot would be afflicting all my fish at once, no?
Anyway, I'm going to do a big water change and make it nice and clean for him in the mean time. Any advice would be useful - I just don't want to treat the whole tank if I can avoid it.
