Oh man! Lost both the modesta and the yo yo ;-( Found them covered in white slime, stiff and floating. What was it? If it was ich wouldn't the clowns have been affected? They are still happy, spotless and dancing.

My angels are laying eggs. The tetra is fine now. What could it have been? I'm considering taking down the tank, removing the substrate (It's about 2-3" deep) and setting it up again with a smaller gravel. I'd leave a layer on the bottom for bacteria.

there has to be something in the tank. What it is, I don't know. Any suggestions? I'm so bummed to have lost by biggest fish. Not cool!
