Loach Article in Aquarium Fish Mag.

There is a general Loach article in the February issue of Aquarium Fish Magazine. It's got a few rather glaring misstatements. For example, "You have a choice: Keep only one clown loach, or keep groups of five or more." There is also a strong implication that Clowns are aggressive likening them to Skunk Loaches.

The description of Kuhlis is also rather misleading, "They are dark brown and tan, and in well-kept adults the tan becomes almost a salmon pink and the bands are a very dark brown (almost black)."

If any of my kuhlis were dark brown and tan for any prolonged length of time (aside for the normal greying-out) I'd be worried about them. And while my Clowns are indeed mischievous, even the biggest of them at nearly 7" is far from aggressive.
