Saving Private Clown Loach...

Hello, I am new to the community, and desperatly trying to improve the life of my Clown Loachs.

If you have not read my previous thread, perhaps given the time, you can read it for further insight into my problem.

However, to make a long story short, I was missled by a PETCO employee about proper care for Clown Loaches. Needless to say, I have 2 Clown Loaches in a 10 Gallon Tank...

I am Hoping to get a bigger tank as soon as possible. In the mean time, they are both under 3 inches, and have been relativly happy untill recently.

One, or both, have recently been infected with whitespot/Ich. and I have been trying to treat them as best I can. Unfortunatly, I have been unable to find the proper Ich Medicine for loaches.

I have raised the temp too my tank to a comfy 80 degrees, and removed the charcoal pad from my filter. I did a 20% water change, added a airpump to increase the current and airflow.

As well as medicated the water with a smaller than recommended dose of Ich Medicine consisting of Formalin, Malachite Green. I understand this is not the correct medicine for Loaches, but it is currently all I have.

I am hoping, that I have done my poor loaches a least a little as good, as I have found myself in a rather steep learning curve for a beginner.

Any suggestions to improve my situation?
