20 Gallon Tank

I read the very informative and interesting post on the "Clown Loach Experiences / Recommendations" section. It gave me a lot of insight. Mike's post in particular was interesting. Not just because of the great detail, but the fact that he has just a 35gal tank. I am really interested in getting some clown loaches but I only have a 20gal tank. Is a 20gal tank too small for 5 clown loaches? If so, is 3 okay? It seems every other web site says a minimum of 50gal is needed, but Mike stated his was just 35gal and he has 7 loaches! That gave me hope that I could keep a few also.

Right now I am restarting my tank after moving. So, its an empty tank right now. I am trying to make a plan on the fishes I want to put in there. Clown loaches are #1 on my wish list.

Anyway, thanks again for any advice.
