let me start by saying that i am an avid aquarist and a disease forum mod at another website (kokosgoldfish.com).

ok, here goes:

ive got a 55 gallon that houses three albino cories, one dojo loach, 1 common pleco, and two goldfish (large comet and small shubunkin). ive keep a vigilant eye on my params and keep the nitrates at 20ppm or less. ive ran several courses of praziquantel (prazipond) for an infestation of flukes. ive upped the doses and frequency for several weeks at a time and they still come back, eventually. ive grown very weary of the cost of prazi and the persistance of this particular strain of flukes and have recently purchased some potassium permanganate to at least treat the goldfish.
