nasty yoyo's ?

I seem to read a lot about people problems with nasty yoyo's.
Now mine are bossy but never nasty. I am wondering about the age of yoyo's in question at time of their purchase.
My theory is this: I buy all my loaches as small and young as possible so they acclimate to aquaria life with less wild and free memories and instincts. The few larger loaches I have purchased were kubotais and they act and look diffrent from their smaller siblings.

I know most people say not but tiny clowns and loaches because you run the risk of losing them but I have not had that problem.
I figure if they grow up together they get along better.
