I had tenatively IDed my loaches as mahnerti(labeled subfasca like everyone else's), but reading below, perhaps vinciguerrae would be proper for some. Many are rather chubby, tho. The reflective patches made me think this one might be a poculi (not all the loaches have that strip). he was resting up high on a piece of driftwood and i thought i'd get a few pics.

do other schisturas also have a reflective bits on the tops of their bodies?
