I just picked up 2 red-tail botias for my african tank--about 4" each--closely matched to the size of my africans. anyway, are the barbs poisonous? I found one mbuna last night on his last fin and put him in a net to see if he would recover. He had a circular patch distal to his pec fin that was nearly white (he was carolina blue) that looked like he was poisoned or something. No previous signs of sickness. He was gone by morning and I really have no clue what happened. if anyone can help me out with this i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
