dojos in ponds?

Hey folks:

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have a small (100 g.) outdoor pond currently inhabited by two goldfish, who are loving their new digs. They used to live inside with two golden dojos, who are still in the aquarium. I've been wary of putting the dojos in a pond because I worry about them jumping out, but I also know that some pondkeepers do keep dojos in outdoor, uncovered ponds. So how about it--am I crazy to even think about it?

Thanks in advance!
