clown loach behavior

I introduced 2 clown loaches into my 46 gallon community tank last Saturday. They both immediately swam into my centerpiece(it has caves) and we've only seen a single loach on 2 different occations very briefly. It's now been 4 days. Everything I've read states that clown loaches are not at all shy. They haven't even come out to eat. Should I be concerned?
