Clowns Synchronized Swimming

Upon occasion Iíve seen my Clowns pair off and swim side by side. They go back and forth, up and down, do sharp turns and all sorts of other acrobatics in complete unison. All the while they are pressed up against one another as if stuck together with glue or something.

Last night I was watching Pop and Stripe (my two largest Clowns) do this for at least 30 minutes (I got tired and went to bed). It doesnít appear to be aggression and Iíve seen little fish swim with big fish little fish with little fish etc., so size doesnít seem to make any difference.

Anyone else seen their Clowns engage in this behavior and have any idea what the heck they are doing?
