UV sterilzer observations

I hooked up my UV sterilizers in two tanks last night. Even though the water has always been clear, there is an amazing extra "polished" look to the water. I was also concerned that extra heat would be generated by the extra pump and the UV unit, but that does not appear to be the case. Hopefully, now, I won't have to deal with that VERY nasty, resistant "bug" tank that rears its ugly head every few months in my original river tank.
