sick kuhli

Hi all - I got a couple from Big Al's last weekend, I am new to the shop but begin to think that's part of the problem, but I digress. I saw him climb to the top of the tank 2 nights ago and lay on some cabomba, thought he looked a little pale. Last night I found him laying on his side and moving very slowly, very pale. He has shifted around the tank in a similar fashion since, I am on the verge of euthanising him as convinced he is suffering. The other kuhli is nowhere to be found of course, ph is about 6.7 in a clean well-lit 33 gal "amazon tank" with mulm, hiding places etc. Six cories and 4 otos are fine, so are all the tetras. Any suggestions? and thank you!
