I posted a message in Re: help with baby clown loaches, but I'd like to post it fresh here - I'm really curious about how and why we all seem to have a fascination with the little fellows.

Horseface Hank brings up an interesting point, particularly with the phrase "dither fish." My tanks are only recently set up, but once I got turned on to loaches, my "setup" fish became quite boring for me, as nasty as that sounds. I have zebra danios and some white clouds, and even a pair of threadfin rainbow fish (which are totally exotic and interesting to watch!), but they all pale in comparison to my six clowns and
