For some reason I was thinking of loaches today(Duh, I'm a loach addict). Then I read Mr.Leadfoot's post about Ich medication for languid, dying loaches. Perhaps these "mystery" loach ailments/deaths are "subclinical" parasite infection/infestation which do not present to the naked eye of the observer, due to some nature of Loaches. The treatment for parasites is generally overlooked in favor of "systemic" meds, but Mr. Leadfoot has had success with parasite meds in bringing his loaches back from the brink. Any thoughts, has this been adressed previously? -Horse
