I want to get a powerhead for my 20 gallon long which I now have two hillstreams in and want more motion in the water for them.

I have a Penguin Biowheel 170 on the tank right now. And I came across this powerhead...

Penguin Powerhead and Accessories
Penguin powerheads provide a constant steady flow of water through the undergravel bed with fully adjustable aeration and surface agitation. Model 660-R also available with reverse flow. The Sponge Filter Replacement is a submersible power sponge filter. The Reverse Flow Kit is for any Penguin and allows only filtered water through gravel.

Could someone explain reverse flow?? Is that better since it is only filtered water and how would that be set up??
