Loach Planted Tank

I currently have a 4 footer and would like to tear it down and create a planted for my loaches and maybe get a few discus and tetras. I currently have 4 clowns 3 modestas and 2 striatas. The plants I have planned to keep are glosso, E. Tenellus in the foreground. And different types of Anubias, Swords and Echinodorus in the background. I have decided to have a large cave in one corner. I would first run the tank for 4 weeks for the plants to take root before introducing the loaches a few at a time. And then get some skunks and yoyos and kuhlis. My biggest worry is that the loaches would uproot the plants, though so far they have only nibbled swords.
