Snails & Botia

Hi all.
I haven't been around much, work.
I have been debating the question "to purposely add, or not add snails to a loach tank".
I have searched the archives but I read mixed reviews. I'm leaning toward adding some MTS to my Qtank for new arrivals to have fresh live meals and introducing them to my 80 gal Botia tank as they overpopulate the Qtank.

What's everyone's opinion?

P.S. Picked up three more BBB yesterday (at $14.99 US about 3" I could not resist) and I'm desperately looking for some Homaloptera orthogoniata and Pseudogastromyzon cheni and/or myersi for my river tank, currently housing 6 Beaufortia kweichowensis.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.
