thin clown loach

I have a small clown loach that seems to be very shy. It doesn't come out to be fed, and now it is so thin it is shaped like a banana. I have been feeding flakes, cichlid pellets and dried tubifex worms. What can I do to help it to eat? I have another loach in the tank that is not shy at all -- in fact it is a greedy pig. It was the same size as the other loach when I got it, but now it is twice the size!
