the clowns seem fine at 7.8, maybe slightly lower so that is why I was wondering. I saw Jeff's photos of dario's and was charmed by them so wondered if they would be fine in the same conditions. sounds like it might be a stretch...as clowns have a range up to 7.5 (or so I read)...and others told me they keep them healthy even up to 8.0.

do you think botias adjust to slight rises (at water change)? All my other fish seem fine with small rises...usually during the week there is a small drop in ph...the clowns have seemed fine so far but am just curious.
