Recently I read that it is possible to treat Clown Loaches for Ich without meds simply by raising the temperature in a tank to between 90-95 degrees without any subsequent outbreaks. I'd like to know if anyone here has ever heard of this method before and whether or not it has been successful.

It would seem to me that raising the temperature that high would be even more stressful to the fish not to mention deplete the tank of needed dissolved oxygen.

Your thoughts?

I myself feel completely comfortable treating with Coppersafe. Treating by the above mentioned method is stressing me and I don't even have to worry about catching Ich! *lol*

I'm just really curious about this.
