Update on legality of big clown loach

I have it on good authority that while it is true that clown loaches cannot be exported from Indonesia when over 10cm (4 inches), they are often exported when small and pond raised in other places, e.g., Singapore, sometimes to very large sizes, which are then imported to North America.
That having been said, I still think of these bigger loaches as "wild-caught", since I doubt that the conditions in which they are raised are much closer to an aquarium than some Indonesian stream.
