Minimum number of Clowns

You've all posted so many times that Clowns do better in groups, so I have two... about all I thought my 10 gallon could hold.
With my limited experience I now think that three or more is best, but one might be better than two.
My dominant one hogs the cave all day and so they are never really together except when they chase each other around at feeding time and they do both spend the night in the cave.
Anyway, I figure that with three if one wanted to be a "jerk" he could do it by itself but the other two would have each other.
On the other hand, the whole problem could be that the dominant "jerk" is much bigger than the other. Maybe if the two were the same size?
