I'm so sorry to hear you lost your loachy friend. It's especially difficult when you lose one you've had for a long time.

The good news is you can add little Clown Loaches to your tank and he will bond wth them no matter what size they are. If your tank can acommodate them, I'd get 3 or 4 of the little guys. Clown Loaches are happiest in groups. I started out with 3 but they were still a bit shy. I'm up to 5 now and they seem to feel much more secure than when there were just 3 of them.

I would also recommend you continue the Ich treatment until you can be certain your remaining fish do not carry the parasite. They
