Hi folks,

I impulsively bought 2 modesta at the fish store because I thought they were adorable. As usual I did the requisite research _after_ introducing the fish to my tank. It's a 37 gallon with 3 Clowns (one about 4"). I had one of those resin logs in the tank but all of the loaches were hanging out inside the log and I only ever saw the Modestas come out for a bit at a time to gobble up all the food they could find. Never saw the clowns. Tonight I removed the log and evicted all 5 fish.

My question is, should the Modestas be segregated in a seperate tank? Are they "safe" with the clowns? The other fish are Bala Sharks and tetras and seem more than able to get out of the way of the modestas.

Sorry for the longwinded post and thanks in a
