Bichirs and Alligator Gar

I currently have 2 senegalus bichir in my 4 footer together with 4 clowns, 2 modestas, 2 straitas, 2 green terrors (pair) and a plec. I have read that bichirs grow very big. I'm worried for they might eat my striatas. My bichirs are currently 7 inch long and they only eat pellets and freeze dried bloodworms. Do you think they might become aggressive? One more question. I have seen alligator gars and wold like to keep them some day (maybe in the future when I have my own house). Do you think that a 4 footer would be enough for the gar alone?
