Questions for Messrs. Thoene, Powers and "Robroy"

Our thanks to you gentlemen for your responses to our questions about your hillstream tanks. We hope you don't mind some follow-up questions.

1. If the fish swim upstream in response to smell, how to they find food stuck on the "downstream" intake sponges?

2. Mr. Powers, we read that you have two fast flow tanks, and that you feed them differently. What do you think accounts for the difference in reaction to cutting off the flow? One theory we came up with is that perhaps the fish that react calmly to shutting off the flow are aquarium-raised and the others are wild-caught. Does that make any sense?
