Treating for ich with temperature

Is it safe to up the temperature in a yo-yo, striata, skunk and clown tank to 90F to kill off the ich? What length of time should this be done for? I know I read here a few months back that it was a certain way to treat, and Maracide just isn't doing the job! Also, should Maracide treatments continue during this or should it be cleared out of the water first? Aeration shouldn't be a problem between a Fluval 101, airstone, and Penguin 330 on a 30-gallon tank.
