An instant (& actually "cured" by water) fix is "Super Glue".

Many was the time that we used it to fix cracks in high-pressure, high-temp fixtures when I was Injection Moulding Plastic for a living.

It won't be pretty... & I'm not sure of it's toxicity, but it's worth a try.

I'd remove the fish, & lower the water level to below the crack-just so that you can get the glue ALL the way into the crack. You could also seal the inside with a piece of HD Sandwich baggie to keep any potential toxicity out of the water column.

For silicone, it must be: 1. Dry & 2. A flat surface with no gaps that the water pressure will violate.
