Succumbing to Pothos

Despite all your positive postings about Pothos -- how easy it is to grow them IN an aquarium and how well they eat up Nitrates -- I really didn't think I wanted a house plant in my aquarium. A HOUSE PLANT for @%$*# sake!

But after planting an Anubias barteri v. Nana, which looks just like a... uh... Pothos... I weakened a bit.

When I was watering my house plants today I trimmed one and ended up with a cute little piece in my hand that consisted of two small leaves and a root that was just beginning to form. Of all things... it ended up in my aquarium. My AQUARIUM for @%$*# sake!
