Pads for Cleaning Glass

Any suggestions? Or are any okay.

I've been using a piece of old white t-shirt. It works fine, but I've had to scrub a bit on tiny spots of dark green algae. (I like the white because it makes them show up.)

The problem is that with all the scrubbing action I dislodged ALL my live plants. That can't be good.

So I need a pad on a long handle. I'm afraid of razor blades as they can scratch if not used properly. And cut.

The other reason I liked the cloth was that I could be very gentle and careful with the sealant. I am concerned that if you abuse it with a pad (even worse, a blade) it could cause it to start to work loose on the edges and keep going over time.
