Well I did it today. I Sliced out the old silicone and and used rubbing alcohol and steel wool to get the old remnants off. I used a

caulking gun to do the seams. @ layers 20 mins apart.I used latex gloves to smooth the seams. Ithink it it look pretty good ,time will

tell thou.Took me an 1 1/2 hrs to scrape and clean and 1/2 hr to seal. I put an exhaust fan in the window so as to not stink the house up:)

Ps Alot of the silicones reccomended on the net to me have fine print that says not for aquarium use?? Ge says they only reccomend

RTV108 but could'n find it anywhere. Anyhow I think it will be fine.
