dwarf puffers and clown loaches??

I'm kind having troubles maintaining my 5.5 gal for my dwarf puffers... they are such messy eaters! And I can't really find anything that can clean up for them that can live happily in such a small tank.

So I'm thinking maybe I would move them in with the clowns. Just considering the possibilities...
What do you guys think? Workable? Bad idea?

So far my dwarfs are really peaceful to other species... they just pick on each other. Haven't bothered the minnow that stayed with them, or even the guppies that used to live there.

By the way there are 2 females and 1 male.
