Clowns coming out of their shells?

I have 2 clowns in my 20 gal with about 8 or 9 Head and Tail light tetras. I fed my tetras this moring, and saw something that I haven't seen since I got my clowns.....they came out of their hiding holes. Briefly, but they came out. They would inch up to the end of the cave first, then they got brazen enough to stick out their nose, and then quickly swim back in. Then after about 5 minutes, they decided to come out, make a quick swin around, and then right back into the cave they go. They have been doing this for about 15 minutes now, and this is the first time I've seen them out of their hole since I got them, except when I spy on them at night with a fl
