clown looking pale

I have two clowns, five baby barbs and a cichild in a 20 gallon (too much??), anyway I noticed that only one clown likes to hide for most of the day and the other likes to school with the barbs. But I find the one thats hiding isn't eating and when it comes out it's extremely pale. Ive been feeding them tetrafin flake food but the clowns arents paying attention to it so I introduced an earth worm from my back yard and again the one that was hiding isn't showing any interest but all the others are it's just swimming on the other side of the tank doing its own thing..whats going on? I think I have a retarted clown
thanx for the help..
