I am slightly frustrated. I used to live in N California near all kinds of rivers. I need a NICE piece of river-driftwood- a horizontal piece with some pieces coming off the top. A walk along any number of rivers would have yielded this for free!

The last thing I want to add to my tank is a piece of driftwood. I have seen some Malaysian stuff lately, prices not too bad. I have also seen some "replicas" of driftwood. The problem is what does this stuff REALLY look like?

Anyone get some stuff they like? I have all natural river-gravels (darker) with stacked round/flat rocks (river-rocks) for fish-caves. I also have groves of silk plants. The whole thing looks like a river.
I need a "river" looking piece of driftwood. This stuff on the market looking like a tree-stump IS NOT what I am looking for- more horz
