Does anyone have any advice on cooling a 20g tank? It gets quite warm in the room where our tank is and there is no way to put an AC where it will not blow directly at the tank. We only have 1 pleco (Puc) at the moment but have had outbreaks of ick and parasites possibly due in part to flucuation in water temperature and try to be disciplined about keeping it at about 80 degrees. The past few days the tank hits 85 degrees or more by the time we get home from work and I have to do a small water change ( a few gallons at most) and float a sandwhich bag with ice to bring the temp down. If it didn't seem to bother Puc I might let it go - but he wont eat and just lays on the bubble-bar until I get the temp down. Any tips on cooling or cooling materials (like a tank AC :) ) would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance
