Clown Loaches Dying

I've had four very healthy 3" clown loaches now for about two weeks. They have been eating like crazy, very active - everything's been fine. I did a 25% water change today (55 gal. tank) and a few hours later I found two of them dead. The other two aren't eating and are kind of hanging around the top. WHAT HAPPENED?

Any help would be appreciated. I love these loaches but can't seem to keep them. I've had the same problem in the past - whenever I do a water change they die. I keep Discus, African Chiclids, Angels, Assorted Tetras, Angelfish, etc. but I CAN'T seem to take care of the loaches.
