dojo loach seizures

I have a weather loach that has begun "swimming" in an eradic manner, almost as if he is having seizures or as if he could not control his swimming. He does that for a few seconds and then seems to "pass out," sometimes floating upside down. During these "passed out" times his gills are often not moving. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong? Thanks in advance.
