Help - Clown Loaches

I have just purchased 3 clown loaches, I had read up on them and thought they looked and sounded interesting.
My aquarium is fairly new (3 weeks), measuring 81 x 31 x 41 cm. It is a Jewel 96L and has an internal filter.
The water is tested regularly, some parameters where high so I am completing a 10 litre water change every other day until the filter matures. The clown loaches were intoduced to my aquarium as follows. Placed in a litre jug with just enough water from the retailers aquarium to cover them. Then water from my aquarium was dripped into this water until the jug was full. This took around 30 minutes. I did this as I read that they took time to adapt to differing water qualities, i thought this would limit any shock. The loaches seemed to adapt fine.
