dojo seizure? help?

I have a dojo that I bought a few days ago in a Q tank. Actually, I bought 2, one died the first night, apparently from stress, as there was no other factor obvious.
Anyway, I just looked over at my Q tank, and he was having what looked like a siezure, thrashing his head back and forth, swiming wildly. Then he fell over backwards, tummy up, and did some heavy breathing. Then he passed gas like dojo's do, then righted himself and swam away. Now he is sitting on the bottom of the tank like normal.
Is this normal? I know they "fart", but never saw one do this. Maybe it was a bad case of gas pain?
I did not feed him anything spicy, I swear!
