Question, Clown behavior

Ok.... Why is it that my clowns don't seem to be shy at all? Ever since I bought them they have been the most active fish in my tanks! I was under the impression that they were somewhat shy, does this develop with age?

I dont mind one bit that they are so active and playfull, I just find it a bit unusual.

Half the time I look for them they are just in a big heap by the front glass! They rarely even use their caves now
